WFCCM Annual Fund

The Wake Forest Catholic Campus Ministry Annual Fund forms the foundation of WFCCM’s fund-raising efforts each year and provides the backbone to fulfill our mission. We rely upon the generosity and joyful giving of parents, students, alumni and friends who believe, in their hearts, the purpose of our ministry: to nourish the faith of our Catholic students while nurturing and developing them to become strong, responsible leaders of society and the Church.

Many people are surprised to find out that WFCCM receives very little funds from Wake Forest University itself (less than 2% of our annual operating budget). And unlike parishes that have weekly income from collections, our congregation is comprised of students with limited ability to give at this time in their lives. Donations to our Annual Fund help to ensure that the Catholic Campus Ministry will be able to continue providing Mass and programming for our Catholic students, and to reach out to more students, more effectively.

What Difference Can My Gift Make?

Plenty. All gifts, no matter how big or small, benefit our students. WFCCM appreciates any support that can be given.

How Does My Gift Help?

Gifts to the Wake Forest Catholic Campus Ministry Annual Fund go to work immediately in the areas where they’re needed the most:

  • student leadership training
  • Mass supplies
  • student spiritual retreats
  • study materials for small groups and OCIA classes
  • funding for guest speakers
  • outreach events and materials
  • salaries for ministry staff

What About Alumni Participation?

Strong alumni participation in giving back to the university is a valuable measure of Wake Forest pride. As a recognized student organization, donations made to Wake Forest University can be designated to the Wake Forest Catholic Campus Ministry.
