Fr. David is from Salisbury, NC and graduated with a BA from Wake Forest in 2007. After college he entered seminary and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Charlotte in 2016. His first assignment was graduate study in Biblical Theology at the Gregorian University in Rome. Since then, he has served at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Charlotte, the Basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville, and Our Lady of Mercy in Winston-Salem. He has served as Catholic Chaplain at Wake Forest since 2024.

Mary Wilson is from Memphis, TN and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt in 2023. After college, she served as a FOCUS missionary for three years at Auburn University, Duke University, and Wake Forest University.

Amber grew up in Spokane, WA and studied Biology and Sociology at Gonzaga University. Raised as a non-denominational Protestant, she entered the Catholic Church in college after a challenging but grace-filled conversion. The grace and friendship of a former FOCUS missionary inspired her own call to serve college students. After two years as a missionary at Stony Brook University, she is excited to walk alongside students at Wake Forest.

Charles grew up across the United States and calls Vine Grove, Kentucky home. He earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Belmont Abbey College. While at Belmont Abbey, he was pursued by the Lord and by friends and heard the call to serve as a FOCUS missionary. In his second year as a missionary, he is excited to share the Gospel and befriend students during their time at Wake Forest.

Josh is from Richmond, Virginia and graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Economics and Business, where he was also a member of the wrestling team. During his senior year, a small group of friends helped him deepen his relationship with Christ. He is now a second-year FOCUS missionary at Wake Forest, helping students encounter Christ more deeply.

Morgan is a first-year missionary on the FOCUS team. She grew up in a military family and now calls Michigan home. While studying Psychology at West Virginia University, she fell more deeply in love with the Lord through its vibrant Catholic community. She is excited to share that love with students at Wake Forest.
